Global Ubuntu, LLC began as an act of liberation and hope. We asserted and affirmed our power as individuals, leaders, and community builders through its creation. Our experience as members of Black American and Afghan people groups inspires and fires our efforts to support creating a sense of belonging and a welcoming environment in communities and workplaces. ​

Since its inception in 2015, the organization has helped Georgia residents discover and use their individual and collective power to improve their communities through popular education and asset-based community development principles, including coaching 14-20 organizations during a 3-year power-building project.
